Day 3 and 4

The day started bright and early here in Buffalo. A morning walk followed by mass at the same church we were married in 15 years ago. My, oh, my how things have changed. I would say we are older, wiser, and much more behaved. The only part that is true about that statement is that we are older. The priest blessed my St. Christopher medal that Sue S. had given me to provide protection during my journey and the St. Christopher cards given to us by Carla M. that are stowed in our carry-on bags. Hoping some of our glitches get solved…the important one being that Madagascar will let me in as a female instead of a male.

Woo Hoo!! Woke up and had an email from Madagascar……that quickly went from male to female. Thank you, St. Christopher!!!! Now getting ready for the flights!!!

Final statistics: Dave’s luggage- backpack was 37.88 pounds, daypack was 26.05 pounds, camera bag was 4.98 pounds. Kathy’s luggage- backpack was 31.22 pounds and daypack was 13.48 pounds. We’ll see what they weigh upon our return! Also, Dave’s weight was 204 and Kathy was 1##. We’ll see how those go, too!
